Teleological Rendering Engine (TRE) for de novo Protein Design
Discovered via OpenAlex
Abstract
The Teleological Rendering Engine (TRE) is a conceptual and computational framework for de novo protein design that reframes sequence generation as a teleological optimization problem. Rather than optimizing solely for energetic stability or statistical likelihood, TRE integrates energetic feasibility, thermodynamic constraints, evolutionary pressure, and functional emergence through novel operators (ϕ, Θ, E, Pego). This project is open to collaborators interested in protein design, computational biophysics, machine learning, and complex systems.
